Resolving an ARK Dispute!
Step 1. Check the rules below. Is it against the rules?
Step 2. Talk to the other tribe. Try resolve the issue between yourselves. You will often find other players are more than happy to help! If they have broken the rules, advise them and refer them to the website.
Step 3. If talking to the other tribe does not resolve the issue or they are being rude/unfriendly, take screenshots or videos of the offending issue and report to the admins via the Admin Tickets channel on Discord. Ensure to include as much information as possible.
SCREENSHOTS AND/OR VIDEOS ARE A MUST. We will not look into a dispute without screenshots or videos.
Rules
General
1. Knowing the English language well is essential, we are Australian servers. Speak English only in global chat and to other members of the community. Don’t be a dickhead. No excessive cursing, racism or hate speech in global or alliance chat. This includes trolling and harassing others. No advertising other servers/clusters.
2. Do not use non-English characters for your name or names like "Human/Survivor". If you do, you will be renamed to whatever your Steam name is. You can also make a ticket via the Admin Tickets channel in Discord to request a name change.
3. Absolutely NO GRIEFING is tolerated. This includes but is not limited to pillaring around someone else’s base, picking up players and tames with dinos or skiffs without their permission, interrupting tames, luring dangerous dinos to another player’s base or dropping wild ones inside their walls.
4. Absolutely NO pillaring or foundation spamming. This is one of those things that will result in an instant structure wipe. If you want the spot, build there straight away. First in, best dressed.
5. Do not block natural resources, artifacts, cave entrances, inlets/rivers or Obelisks with either your dinos or structures. Cave building is allowed except for Artifact caves and caves with a high number of natural resources.
6. The tribe limit for dinos is 250. Once cryopods are back in business, please keep as many dinos in cryopods as possible. The limit is there for breeding, but once you are done please put them away. We are more than happy to provide you with a cryofridge and cryopods if you do not have any. Anyone repeatedly breaking this rule will have their dinos deleted as it is not fair to the rest of the commmunity who are doing the right thing.
7. Do not litter the map with your tamed dinos. Keep them inside the boundaries of your base. Do not put your dinos on aggressive and wander outside your base walls.
8. Each tribe is limited to a MAXIMUM of 50 crop plots.
9. When collecting beaver dams, please empty the dam completely to ensure the timely respawn of new ones – if you don’t want certain items from it, just drop them on the ground.
10. If an oil pump is not inside your base perimeter, please keep it unlocked.
11. Please note we are unable to restore lost items and creatures. We will, however, restore a lost character profile if required. This will restore the character only, not anything you may have had on you.
12. We do not provide refresh services for bases or dinos. Managing dinos and refreshing bases in an early access game poses considerable challenges. If we provide this service for one tribe, we would need to offer it to other tribes that also ask for this service, and providing babysitting services such as that demands a substantial time commitment, especially considering that players frequently do not return. It's recommended to seek assistance from a tribe mate, friend, or someone else who may be available to help in such matters.
Bases
Each tribe is allowed up to a maximum of TWO main bases (your main centre of operation where majority of your time is spent). We obviously want to prevent any lag, especially when it comes to rendering bases. Please do not build near other tribes unless they have agreed to it. Smaller outposts should be limited to basics such as a bed and one or two crafting stations (so essentially a 2×2 structure). If we find players abusing and spamming outposts all over the map, we will be forced to modify the rule and implement a hard limit so please don’t ruin it for yourself and others. If you are moving base locations, kindly tear down your old one.
If you are building where there are natural player spawns, please leave an unlocked gate with a sign so that new players who spawn inside your walls can get out. Alternatively you can have unlocked ladders. If you don’t, an admin has the right to make a hole in your wall or claim a door/gate without warning. We recommend not building in player spawns.
