Hey survivors!
Before I hop into the Easter event information (hehe) I want to talk about some important changes.
Firstly, I have now removed the Suicide Implant mod and replaced it with the suicide plugin. While I liked the mod as you could see it in your inventory, it was useless if you were stuck floating as you wouldn’t be able to eat it. So all I ask is that you help each other out and make each other aware of the suicide command 🙂 all you need to do is type /suicide into the normal chat and it will kill you instantly if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation.
Secondly, we had a vote on whether or not to keep the Auction House mod and turns out it wasn’t as popular and loved as I initially thought! Because of this, we have decided to remove the mod on Tuesday 14th April. This will give everyone time to get their items or dinos back from the AH before the mod is removed (otherwise they will get deleted).
And before you ask.. no, we will not be replacing the 2 removed mods with other mods. We just wanted to wean out the mods we don’t really need for better server performance and less loading for you guys. The other mods will be staying. I have also been working on a couple of other plugins that I think would be beneficial. Plugins are all server side, so affects everyone a lot less!
Onto the Easter event, yay! It is now live across all our servers. From Wildcard:
“Going until April 22nd, survivors will be able to experience our annual Eggcellent Adventure event! While much of the world is at home, we wanted to give you some new adventures to hunt down. During Eggcellent Adventure 5, survivors will be able to collect special “Bunny Eggs” across the ARK from wild Bunny Dodo’s. These Bunny Eggs can be painted or used in special Cooking Pot recipes to craft new holiday-themed item skins such as the Spear and C4 skin, as well as 10 returning skins.
Similar to past Eggcellent Adventure events, Bunny Oviraptor’s will drop festive Dino Candy. Collect the candy and feed it to your tames for a special festive effect! To top it all off, wild creatures roaming the ARKs will also find themselves sporting some eggcellent colors!
For those that are looking to expand their chibi collection, you’re in luck! You’ll be able to collect the past chibi’s we’ve introduced with the addition of 6 new chibi pets by placing and cracking event-themed eggs from wild bunny dodos.”
